Historical Philosophy & Theology

John Senior, in his book The Death of Christian Culture stated, “Modernism is an attack on the verb ‘to be.’” Since Descartes, modern philosophy has, for the most part, been a series of intellectual mind games, disconnected from objective reality. We are flooded with a parade of self-validating systematic ideologies, rife with social and political agendas, each vying for supremacy in our cultural identity. Christianity is often reduced to competing systematic theologies, each making claims to be true in their own terms. My intention for this page is to re-establish connections to objective realism and the historical Christian tradition.
